The Samaca 29 Celta’s is a beautiful , versatile natural slate mined from the La Cabrera, “Maria Del Carmen”, mountain in North west spain from the townland of La Bana and is a slate with a proven history that has been used on buildings in the area for hundreds of years .
The Samaca 29 Celta’s is a traditional riven slate with a natural blue – black hue and a very distinctive texture consistent non fading colour and high mechanical tensile strength the Ultra selection gives true uniformity along with a slightly thicker appearance making this the roofers choice every time .
It is noted for its rare characteristic of a longitudinal grain . Highly versatile ,it is equally suitable for new building or refurbishment of old , and has been approved Snowdonia National Park as a direct replacement to indigenous slate and complies fully to BS/EN 12326 A1, S1 ,W1,T1 in addition also the higher classification NF Slate mark | LNE, Laboratoire national de métrologie et d’essais .
